Our Spring Program Kick-Off
On February 10th, SCORE Athletics kicked off it’s spring program at 6 elementary schools in Austin, Texas: Pecan Springs, Harris, Overton, Cook, Linder, and Barbara Jordan. Our 60 UT coaches are serving 100 kids this semester! We’re so excited by the enthusiasm our kids have shown for SCORE and can’t wait to watch them develop and grow throughout the program.
Austin Spurs Game
SCORE Athletics has partnered up once again with the Austin Spurs to provide the kids with an opportunity to travel to the H-E-B Cedar Park Center to watch the Austin Spurs play a professional game of basketball! This Spring, our kids enjoyed sideline seats courtesy of the Austin Spurs and experienced an opportunity that most of us would take for granted! A fully-funded event like this afforded our kids the chance to go on a fun field-trip to watch a basketball game in person, some of them for the first time. These off-the-field experiences reinforce our core values of commitment and mentorship to our kids, especially when they get to see their coaches come on the field trip with them! Go Spurs Go!
Kendra Scott Gives Back
Kendra Scott supported SCORE Athletics and its mission on December 11, 2018 by hosting a profit share for our non-profit. Due to the success of our turnout, SCORE Athletics raised thousands of dollars to help facilitate our expansion this Spring, and we are excited to continue working with such a great philanthropic organization that takes pride in giving back to the community.
