The University of Texas

The University of Texas System has played an instrumental role in the development of our company. Programs like the Liberal Arts Honors Program, the Blackstone Launchpad, and Envision Austin have been influential in shaping the foundation of our company and providing us with exposure and seed money. Our metrics evaluations and curriculum were created under the advice of the UT Departments of Education, Psychology, and Social Work. As a team comprised of UT Longhorns, the Forty Acres holds a special place in our heart. We are forever grateful to the mentors and programs that have jumpstarted our program and platform. As we all know, what starts here changes the world!

The Austin Spurs

The Austin Spurs, the San Antonio Spurs affiliate, has been an avid sponsor of SCORE and its mission. Throughout our partnership, we have worked together to enhance the SCORE program at UT Austin and increase exposure in the Austin community. In the Fall of 2018 we partnered with the Austin Spurs to host a SCORE Athletics Night during the Spurs’ December 4th game at the H-E-B Cedar Park Center. Our kids came early to the game for what the Spurs call a ‘Chalk Talk.’ They had the incredible opportunity to meet and talk with NBA superstar George Gervin about the value of teamwork and perseverance. Then SCORE’s kids had a transformative opportunity to sit on the sidelines during the game and were featured by the H-E-B Center on the JumboTron. For some of our kids, this was the first time they had physically been at a basketball game, and their excitement was inspiring for us to watch. We held another SCORE Athletics Night in February of 2020, and we are excited to continue our partnership with the Austin Spurs at future games and events! Go, Spurs, go!

Kendra Scott

Kendra Scott is a dedicated philanthropist and entrepreneur in the Austin area. Her company, Kendra Scott, is an official parter of SCORE Athletics. SCORE kicked off our partnership with the jewelry company by hosting a Kendra Gives Back Event on December 11th. This event served as a fundraiser for SCORE with complimentary champagne, treats, and information on our mission. Thank you, Kendra Scott, for supporting us in our vision of mentoring kids through team sports!

Communities in Schools - Central Texas

Communities in Schools - Central Texas (CIS) has been critical to the success of SCORE Athletics. As an official partner, CIS provides connections to the partner schools that SCORE travels to each week to host our program. SCORE is passionate about the mission of CIS and is excited to work with them in the future so we are able to continuously serve the Austin community.
